Fox Fire is the 5th-largest active wildfire in Oregon, burning 23 miles east of Baker City and has spread north.

The Fox Fire was reported on July 23, 2026. It is exhibiting moderate fire behavior. The Southwest Area Incident Management Team 3 also has command of the Powder River Fire plus Bob Creek, and will combine updates for the Fox Fire.
