The Twin Sisters Fire is now 100% contained. Unless conditions change significantly, this will be the final formal update. Command staff are confident enough in the fire’s containment to downgrade the incident from a Type 3 to a Type 4. Accordingly, at 0700 this morning, Sunday, August 2, 2026, the incident will transition from a Type 3 team to a Type 4 organization.
